I recently had to replace my washing machine, and after looking at my options, I determined that Coast was the best mix of pricing, selection and being a local Canadian company also helps. Anyways, from the get go Shannon Reynolds was great to work with! Being able to look at the connections and depth of the rear cabinet helped me ensure the unit would fit in my condo closet. When it was all said and done, I had selected a new replacement laundry tower, had full confidence it would fit well, and thanks to the emailed “delivery prep” with the delivery/appliance removal options, everything went incredibly smooth (ensure stackers are separated before removal crew arrives!). Not to mention that the new appliance is amazingly quiet/fast… and the previous unit was no slouch! Will be buying my kitchen appliance upgrades from Coast for certain!!

Our sales associate Lyon, was super friendly and knowlegable. Delivery of our fridge was 3 day's after we purchased it and the delivery guy's were friendly and professional. Great experience.

I have dealt with Coast Appliances for over 13 years and have always found their pricing to be competitive and their service excellent. This past experience I was particularly impressed with their real time delivery tracking. My appliances arrived at precisely as indicated in the app. Prior to delivery I received a call from the driver and then I was able to track his exact arrival. No need to wait around wondering when they might show up.

It was a decent sales process except that: Sales guy let us know there was no hidden fees/costs - and that there'd be a small cost to install the gas stove - but like $400 or so. Turns out - Coast doesn't handle anything to do with delivery or installation. It's two separate companies! Turns out: There's a lot of fees when it comes to hiring companies to install the dishwasher, fridge, washer/dryer and stove - and more than $400. There was no warning about the process or timing or extra costs involved. When I followed up they said they don't get involved or are responsibility for that portion - even though they suggest a few companies and give rough quotes that are way off price. Delivery - any issues with that - Coast takes 0 responsibility - there's even a animosity between the drivers and Coast - they don't work well together sadly. It's a real bummer. The pieces are great, the sales process was fine - but delivery and installation - I wish I knew how much of a gong show it was going to be OR gone with a company who cares about the end process - how delivery goes and how installation goes. :(

IMHO: the showroom has gotten more and more upscale over the years. Not a bad thing if that's your market. I have a budget lifestyle so much of what I'm looking for is not on display. Instead, its best to shop their website as it appears to feature all their products, current pricing and sales. If you're not searching for matching sets, their clearance section is quite sizable and a good option for DIYERs like me; so include this stop early in your search to give yourself a realistic budget option.

All good except my washing machine drain pipe was not long enough and the installer did not have an extention kit. They couldn't test the washing machine and I'm not sure if I now need to buy the kit separately. Otherwise it was a good experience.

I recently purchased a range and hood fan from Coast Appliance in Langley. Richard Wylie was very helpful in the selection of the right models for my 24-year old townhouse kitchen. He also gave me good advice to prepare for the new units which included how I might proceed with removing my old above-the-range microwave and tiling a small backsplash in the resulting space behind it. Delivery of the new appliances went smoothly and Richard recommended using Han Appliance Ltd. for the installation of the hood fan. Chris and Fernando from Han Appliance Ltd. arrived the next day to do the installation of the hood fan. They did an excellent job and having two men to do the installation really made it go smoothly. Chris was happy to use the power cord that Richard suggested I buy at Home Depot and Chris even shortened it from the 9' length to a more practical 3' or so. Chris was very thorough and I was especially impressed that he tested the outlet in the cupboard before finishing. It turned out that the outlet had been wired incorrectly 24 years ago and that the polarity was reversed! Chris took the time to re-wire it correctly and make it safe. The added cost of having professionals do the installation was really worth it.

I trusted the salesman with his research and bought a machine on the spot. It seemed reasonable to wait 8 weeks to save $600. But then when I got home, I looked up the machine to confirm the size and found the exact same machine on Best Buy for cheaper and available for next day delivery. No one will return a phone call or an email!

Needed both range and fridge. Did a lot of on line shopping and comparing. End up going with Coast Appliances as they had they has a promo on Samsung that discounted the taxes. Got what we wanted. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.
